ABOUT
Dr. Olivia Ptito is a dedicated physician committed to patient-centered care with an emphasis on sustainable lifestyle changes to prevent chronic illness, improve quality of life, and reduce hospital visits. This includes evaluating one's physical activity, nutrition, social connections, stress management, and sleep hygiene. As well as reducing reliance on pharmacological interventions, whenever possible.
In addition to family medicine, Dr. Ptito specializes in hair medicine, addressing conditions such as hair loss, scalp disorders, and hair thinning with a comprehensive, evidence-based approach, with surgical intervention when appropriate. Rather than relying solely on medications, she integrates medical treatments with lifestyle modifications, nutritional support, and advanced therapies like platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and regenerative medicine.
She understands that hair health is deeply connected to overall well-being, including hormonal balance, stress levels, and metabolic function. By tailoring treatments to each patient's unique needs, Dr. Ptito helps restore confidence and improve long-term scalp and hair health.
She views patient relationships as partnerships, ensuring they feel heard and valued beyond a routine consultation.
Dr. Ptito holds a B.S. in Microbiology & Immunology from McGill University, an M.D. from the American International School of Medicine, and completed post-graduate studies at Ross University and residency in Family Medicine at Laval University. She actively pursues continuing education to stay at the forefront of medical advancements.
Fluent in English and French, with proficiency in Spanish and Creole, she is also learning Russian. A mother of two, she enjoys traveling, yoga, dance, and healthy living. Beyond medicine, she is passionate about business and entrepreneurship, continuously evolving as both a professional and lifelong learner.
